Welcome to TUMC Youth

We are glad to know you.

Our Youth Ministry is a community of faith that comes together to improve ourselves and each other through fellowship, discipleship, and sharing the love of God with the World around us through everything we do.

When do we meet?

Tarrytown United Methodist Youth Ministry typically meets Sunday mornings and evenings and during the middle of the week on Wednesday evenings. The descriptions below outline the type of activities we host on a weekly basis. The YOUTH CALENDAR also gives more information about each event.

Sunday Mornings

Middle (7th & 8th graders) and High School students meet every Sunday morning in the Youth Attic at 9:30AM. They have a brief time of fellowship and breakfast before splitting up for Sunday School lessons. The High Schoolers stay in the youth attic for their lesson and the Middle Schoolers go to the Youth Basement (rm. 102, right beneath Fellowship Hall) for their lesson.

The 6th grade confirmands attend church services at 9:30AM and then head to the Youth Basement for their confirmation lesson.

Sunday Evenings

Sunday Evenings are designed for TUMC youth (both middle and high school) small groups. High School boys will meet the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings. Middle School boys and girls (6th-8th) will meet the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings as well.

Wednesday Evenings

High School meets every Wednesday from 7:00-9:00pm! The location changes every month so email Kilby at kohea@tumc.church for more information. Come for an evening of dinner, games and fellowship!
